With its grand opening in 2002, The Links at Novadell has quickly become one of the western Kentucky's premier golf courses. Our 6,886-yard, par-72 layout, created by Don Charles of Winston-Salem, N.C., formerly a member of Arnold Palmer's design team,
meanders across rolling farmland -- offering championship golf in peaceful, natural surroundings.
Open driving areas and limited trees, tall natural grasses, strategically placed pot bunkers and winds that blow across the farmland give this course a links flavor, a style of golf that is very unique for Western Kentucky. Our golf club also has the area's most comprehensive practice facilities, including a 10-acre driving range, an 8,000 square foot putting green and a practice bunker.
The Links at Novadell Golf Course offers a great golf experience rich in the heritage of golf and unsurpassed in southern hospitality.
Our 18 holes are generally open and easy to walk however, the wind plays a major role in shot accuracy. This course was designed with the average golfer in mind, and there are few forced carries.

The greens are large (averaging 7,000 square feet) and fast, with a slight undulation and a back-to-front slope of about two feet. Water comes into play on nine holes in the form of four lakes and a few creeks. The Links at Novadell plays from 5,003 to 6,886-yards, and there are four sets of tees to challenge all skill levels
One of our most exciting holes is No. 3, a long par-5 that measures 618 yards from the back and 482 from the front. In fact, according to our head golf professional Kevin Holler, this is the longest hole in Christian County.
“It's definitely a three-shot par-5,” Holler says.
Your length will also be challenged on our 5th, a par-3 that measures 248 from the back tees and 121 yards from the front. There are hazards left and right here, including a sinkhole and trees on the left. This hole also has the larges green, measuring 38 yards deep. “There can be a three to four club difference on this hole, depending on the pin placement,” Holler says.
But those who love to take their chances will enjoy the risk-reward opportunity on No. 8, a drivable par-4 that measures 301 yards from the back and 206 from the front. But there are obstacles here, including OB to the left, three fairway bunkers and two greenside bunkers. Watch out for the lateral hazard on the right – another sinkhole.
“It plays a little downwind though,” Holler says. “I've seen eagles and triple bogeys made on this hole.”
The 10th hole is a great par-4 (403 yards from the back and 295 from the front). It's a slight dogleg left around lake where wat
er comes into play. Avoid the freeway bunker on the right and watch out for the creek that's about 100 yards short of the green. “The creek is not in play off the tee, but it may be on the second shot,” Holler says.
You'll encounter the most testy par-4 on the course on No. 16, largely due to the length of the hole, 434 yards from the back tees and 348 from the front.
“It's a very tight driving hole because of out of bounds on the left and right,” Holler says. “There is also a large fairway bunker on the left. Grass mounds pinch the fairway on the landing area, and your second shot will be uphill to a large green protected by a mound on the left with a pot bunker.”

Our 17th hole, a par-3, measuring 159 yards from the back and 73 from the front, has almost got an island green with water front, left and behind the putting surface. On a calm day, this hole is a snap. On a windy day it's easy to land in the water. So take the strength of the breeze into account.
Then it's off to our great finishing hole, the par-5 18th (532 from the back and 427 yards from the front. This hole is reachable in two for longer hitters, provided your drive carries a pond, according to Holler.
There is OB on the right and a lateral hazard involving a creek.
“This is a good birdie possibility,” Holler says.
